Julie Nowlin told local affiliate KVUE that she was driving with her 4 year old in the car when she crossed paths with the reckless driver.
Nowlin, who’d just met friends for coffee, says the driver was “crossing on the yellow stripe, driving in the bike lane, driving really close to them, intimidating them until they exited and left.”
Nowlin says she was recording to document the incident, but the other driver didn’t take kindly to that.
“I went to take a picture of his license plate and he saw me in the rear view mirror,” Nowlin said.
She says the driver got out of his car, called her a b*tch, spat on her windshield, then added, “F**k you, Black power!”
“He got out of his car three times after chasing me around at high speeds and almost kιlling a female jogger,” Nowlin told the Smoking Gun of the February 4 incident.
Nowlin says she was calling 911 as the man was chasing her and eventually pulled into a Starbucks.
“I was just running for my life, I didn’t know what to do,” she said.
“I’m shaking right now talking about it, it was horrible,” Nowlin said. “I was just hiding in Starbucks for two hours, waiting for police.”
Since Nowlin uploaded the video to YouTube, other drivers have come forward to admit that they’ve also been harassed by the driver.
KVUE reports that one of their employees witnessed the man get out of his car and harass someone at a red light.
According to TSG, the driver’s name is Rashaad Devon Ben and he’s been arrested in the past.
