Tupac Shakur is known as the greatest hip-hop artist of all time. He was eclectic and varied in his tastes and had an interesting form of consciousness that underlied hardcore hip-hop beats. So, he appealed to the rugged and rough side of the genre while also serving the side of it that required a bit more thinking.
