A Maryland teenager has been found guilty of rαping a fellow student in a school hallway.
Eighteen year old Jocori Scarborough was found guilty on Tuesday of all charges in connection
with the rαpe of another student at Parkside High School.
The sεxual assαult, which occurred on May 5, led to Scarborough being prosecuted on five charges. He was found guilty of first degree rαpe, false imprisonment, second degree assαult, reckless endangerment, and disturbing and threαtening a student, according to USA Today.
During the trial, a 15 year old victim testified that he pulled her down the hallway, then forcibly rαped her while she was pinned against a wall.
“She said no,” Wicomico County Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Karen Dean said. “She said no several times.”
There was surveillance video of Scarborough interacting with the younger teen, but there were no cameras where the assαult took place, leading Scarborough’s family to question the truthfulness of the accuser.
“There were no signs, in the video they took of her walking around the school, that he used any kind of force,” Lamarr Brown, a spokesperson for Scarborough’s family, told WBOC.
After the assαult the teen boarded a bus to another high school where she used a friend’s phone to call her father.
Scarborough’s attorney, Eddie Gonzalez, did not deny that the two teens had sεx, but told jurors that there was not enough evidence to convict the teen beyond a reasonable doubt. He also showed still frames of the victim where she was not crying after the incident. Gonzalez also noted that the teen was not injured during the incident.
The girl said she refused to have sεx with Scarborough but agreed to walk with him to class and that’s when the rαpe occurred.
A sentencing date has not yet been set.

This is just outrageous; I can’t believe the defense making such a claim that she was not hurt (I guess I’m not really surprised because that’s what they do to try and get their client(s) off). Let’s exam and take a good look at the victim, what were her defenses, let’s try mental anguish and bodily physical harm just to point out the damage that has occurred to this teen and will endure for the rest of her life, okay! How would you (defense attorney) feel if something similar occurred to your sister, mother or auntie? Let’s stop blaming the victims already!

Rape is a real crime but her story doesnt make sense. She boarded a bus, rode across town and then called her father. Yeah right.
It might help to understand this conviction if the ethnicity of the alleged victim were know to the public?
