Is this what a welfare mom looks like? According to FOX News racists, Yes.
Last week Fox News shared a viral video of a young African-American boy expressing his disapproval at his mom’s pregnancy. Once the military mom shared with her son that he’d be getting a new sibling, the boy went off.
Most people agreed that the video was the cutest thing they’d ever watched, but Fox commenters went on a racist rant after the network posted the video.
“What were you thinking? Why you have to just get another baby? You just have two!” Tre explained during the video.
“This is exasperating” Tre argued, as he tried to talk his mom out of having another child.
Tre then inquired as to whether his new sibling was a boy or a girl and had something to say about that as well.
“What kind of baby is that?” he asked. When Tre’s mom said it could be a boy or girl, Tre mulled over the differences, then reached a conclusion.
“Boys’ cries are even worse,” said Tre, who said he knows this because there was a boy crying at his school.
In the end, Tre accepted the sibling, but with one requirement: “Buy me some earplugs, too.”
Although Fox News posted the video with a caption describing Tre as “adorable”, Fox readers weren’t having any of it. They immediately began spewing racist remarks at the Tre and his mom.
“Got to keep the welfare money rolling in” wrote one commenter. “Obviously, he hasn’t been told that another baby means more money added to the EBT. He’ll grab the concept eventually as soon as a democrat politician shows up at his door looking for votes.”
