Man Convicted of Rαping Heterosεxual Men He Met at Bars

A Maryland man who lured heterosεxual men at bars to his home, then sεxually assαulted Poindexterthem, was convicted on Thursday.

Joey Poindexter, a real estate appraiser, was convicted of sεxually assαulting four men he met at bars and brought home.

The allegations came to light after a student accused Poindexter of assαulting him after meeting him at Looney’s Pub in College Park Maryland in 2013.

Although Poindexter was only convicted of four assαults, NBC Washington reported that he may’ve assαulted more men in the past.

The student reported that Poindexter, now 40, got him drunk while at the ping pong tournament, then took him home and sεxually assαulted him. According to the student, Poindexter bought him shots, beer, and a Long Island Iced Tea after they met at the bar.

The student didn’t remember anything after being taken to the man’s home, but went to police, who had him record a conversation with Poindexter.

“You know, no matter what did happen or didn’t happen, like I said, I was pretty trashed,” Poindexter told the victim during the recorded call. “And if it makes you feel any better, I don’t have any [expletive] AIDS if anything did happen.”

“Investigators said in fall 2013 they believed Poindexter was a sεxual predator who had been victimizing young adult men for approximately 10 years. They said he frequented beer pong tournaments, attending events at various bars in the D.C. and Baltimore area,” NBC Washington reported.

All the men who were assαulted say they were drunk, and probably drugged, at the time the incidents occurred.

Police found pictures of the victims in various states of unconsciousness.

“Honestly, [we’re] disgusted to know that someone of that age would try to befriend young adults and see that he would be preying on them,” juror Jennifer Davis told the news station.

Poindexter will be sentenced in March.
