News3 reports that a Memphis man was arrested earlier this month for attαcking another man with a crowbar over $20.

Investigators say James Warren admitted to beαting his sister’s boyfriend with a crowbar during an argument over $20.

Alleged victim James Howard told police that after the argument the two left the home, but a little later Howard came back and said Warren was standing in the driveway with a crowbar, and that’s when he was attαcked.

Howard claims he tried to get away from Warren, but Warren pummeled him about the head and face with the tool he was using as a weapon: “He was trying to kιll me with that crowbar.”

Howard was taken to the hospital and listed in critical condition.
