A year has passed since Khloe Kardashian filed for a divorce so that her and her husband Lamar Odom could go their separate ways. The problem she is now facing is that she can’t find her husband so that they can finalize the divorce.
The star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians is reported to have made multiple attempts to get in touch with her husband but has been unable to for months.
The 30 year old reality star and her attorney have been reported to both make attempts at contacting the NBA player to no avail. They want to meet with him to finalize the divorce and end the couple’s five year marriage, officially.
According to TMZ, Khloe filed for divorce in December 2013 citing irreconcilable differences and her husband has since gone missing, even though he is hard to miss at 6ft 9in.
Back in February, it seemed that Odom was somewhat optimistic that his wife may not follow through with the divorce. He said that “only time will tell” if Khloe would go through with it and finalize the divorce. It is reported that the 35 year old basketball star is refusing to sign the divorce papers.
Khloe is now left with two options; either she enters a Default, which would mean the divorce would go ahead in her husband’s absence or she could also stop the divorce proceedings by entering a Request for Dismissal.
Even though Odom has been spotted and was last pictured earlier this month, he has even seemingly disappeared from social media. He last posted a Tweet back in September which said,
“Left Hook Right Upper Cut & to the Body of all the Haterz!!!”
September happens to also be the same month that Khloe broke up with her on and off again boyfriend, French Montana. The two are reported to have first connected in April. In September, it was also Khloe and Lamar’s fifth year anniversary since they are still technically married.
Khloe and Lamar’s separation seemed to have been caused by the reports that Lamar was on drugs and was being unfaithful. The couple reportedly have a solid prenup and Khloe wants to make sure she does not pay any spousal support to her husband.
