Woman Fαtally Stαbs Ex-Boyfriend for Putting Curse on Her

A Florida woman who believed her ex-boyfriend had put a curse on her retaliated by fαtally Amanda Lopezstαbbing the man, say police.

Amanda Lopez, 26, told police that she’d considering kιlling Larry Lee Fryar for some time because he’d “done something to her” and she needed to end his life in order to break free. Lopez said “she needed to be free from the demons.”

According to a court affidavit, Lopez said Fryar had “put a curse on her.”

Fryar, 57, was found in his apartment with multiple stαb wounds.Fryar called 911, telling the dispatcher, “Hurry, hurry, I’ve been stαbbed.”

He was taken to the hospital but did not survive his wounds, CBS Tampa Bay reports.

“It could be anything,” said Joey Stuart, a resident, told News 13. “It could be a cover-up that she did want to murder somebody or it could be that she really was possessed by someone.”

Lopez was arrested while trying to board a bus bound for New York.

The woman’s mother says she wants help for her daughter.

“I will do anything to save her,” her mother, Vanessa Perez, told the Orlando Sentinel. “I would rather see her in a mental hospital than see her facing life in jail.”

Perez confirmed that her daughter thought her ex-boyfriend had cursed her.

“She had emotional problems but she really thought he put the curse on her,” Perez said. “I told her the only thing that could save her from the demons was to place her trust in God.”

“I don’t know what made her snap,” said Perez, who said her daughter had been improving after leaning on her faith.

Lopez and Fryar had lived together as a couple after meeting more than two years ago.

She has been charged with first degree mυrder and is being held without bond.
