President Obama is known to count celebs such as Jay-Z and wife Beyonce among his inner Mourning and Obama.jpgcircle, but that’s not where it ends. Among Obama’s newest friends is former Miami Heat star Alonzo Mourning.

White House insiders have previously claimed that Obama is one of the most insular presidents in American history, but he’s become fast friends with former NBA star Alonzo Mourning.

Mourning, who has donated to the Democratic Party and previously played basketball with Obama, is now a close friend to the president.

Even though Obama had adopted rapper Drake’s mantra of “no new friends”, he and Mourning are now pals. The two men have played golf together three times since November and met up in the Florida Keys. The two men discuss everything from sports to social issues when they’re together, according to Mourning.

“You get caught up in the fact that he’s so personable you do forget that he is the most powerful man in the world,” Mourning said in an interview, according to POLITICO. “That’s what he wants when he’s around his friends. He doesn’t want to be strictly political every time that he’s around us. I think he just wants to relax and exhale.”

Mourning, 44, says he’s not looking for the hook-up but genuinely enjoys the president as a friend. “I like to think I’m a pretty decent guy,” he explained.

Pres. Obama told Mourning he admires  “what I stood for off the playing field just as much as what I’ve done on the court.”

  3. Today, organizations need to be told the specific position title you want to apply for – but a general resume fails to include this. On top of that, they instantly want to determine what positively distinguishes you – while a general resume forces you to appear just like the flood of general resumes they have already had dumped on them.

  12. You must ensure that a professional cover letter attracts your prospective employer, verifies your suitability for the job, plus entices them to pay attention to the resume so they will select you for the interview. Due to the immense flood of resumes sent to every job offer currently, an expertly-written cover letter typically becomes the top deciding factor as to if you get an interview – or get tossed into the garbage!

  24. Long time ago, job seekers were taught that each resume must have a list of bullet-point duties and responsibilities required by each employment we’ve ever done – and the bigger the list the better. No longer! Today, employers plan to only devote ten seconds (maybe even less) when skimming through your resume. Don’t use the duties and responsibilities resume format!
