White supremacists always posit the idea that there is some innate difference between blacks and whites, but as one black detective explains, even notorious racist David Duke can’t tell the difference between a black man and a white one over the phone. The black detective explains for the first time how he was able to trick Duke and the KKK into giving him a leadership position within the organization.
Detective Ron Stallworth worked with the Colorado Police in the 1970’s and not only convinced Duke and others that he was white, but Stallworth moved up the ranks of the KKK through the telephone. How’d it all happen? Stallworth replied to a newspaper ad.
In a new book called “Black Klansman”, Stallworth details how he rose within the organization’s ranks during the period he investigated it.
Stallworth says, according to The Daily Beast, that he won over Klansman David Duke first.
“I can always tell when I’m talking to a n*****. Take you for example. I can tell that you’re a pure Aryan white man by the way you talk, the way you pronounce certain words and letters,” Duke had explained.
“N******s do not have the same intelligence as the white man to properly speak English the way it was meant to be spoken,” Duke continued.
Stallworth says Duke was so taken with him that he shared all of his upcoming plans with Stallworth, who then shared them with his police force and the FBI.
Soon enough the number of KKK members diminished significantly and there was no longer a need for an ongoing investigation.
