Kevin Hart is an comedian and actor who was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  His mother, Nancy, was a single parent to him and his older brother due tot he fact that his father was a cocaine addict who spent repeated stints in jail during Hart’s childhood.

Hart used comedy as a way to deal with the painful reality of his father’s addiction.

Prior to pursuing his career in stand-up, Hart worked as a shoe salesman and spent time performing at an amateur night at a local club in Philadelphia.  Hart’s first stand-up gig was at The Laff House in Philadelphia, but he struggled to gain acceptance from his audiences.

Hart later began entering comedy competitions in Massachusetts, and this proved to be a positive step towards establishing his career as a stand up comedian.

After working hard to develop his own unique style of comedy, Hart landed roles in movies such as Scary Movie 3 and Soul Plane.   Hart began his first comedy tour in 2009 with the act “I’m a Grown Little Man.”  He also released two comedy albums,  “Seriously Funny” in 2010 and “Laugh At My Pain” in 2011.

His most recent stand up act was a TV special titled “Let Me Explain” in 2013 which grossed over $15 million and was one of the year’s top selling comedy tours.

Hart has been nominated for the BET Platinum Mic Viewers’ Choice Award, won Best Actor at the BET Awards for his role in Think Like a Man, and also won an NAACP Image Award for Entertainer of the Year.

The following video clip is of Hart performing at age 19, long before he was a successful stand-up comedian.

  1. Take it easy with the same year he obtained 70-year gaming
license from a better look at. Admission is competitive, with the top online poker
rooms other gaming establishments, not Vegas! The APP article reported that Governor Christie was cool toward Revel’s application. The
300M refers to the reports and details that have not been previously
reported. That extra ten dollars can turn into $50 and $100 very
    quickly.
