Rapper 50 Cent may have successfully transitioned to a pioneer businessman, but professional pitcher 50 Cent pitchhe’s not, which was evident when he threw out the first pitch at a recent Mets game. After that embarrassing throw, the rapper tried to explain that throwing balls isn’t really his thing.

“It slipped,” Fiddy,  whose real name in Curtis Jackson, told Good Morning America.”I’m not a professional pitcher,” he said. “I make music.”

We totally get that, but a few practice throws before the game probably wouldn’t have hυrt, especially since Fiddy is quick to call out other men on their machismo.

On the bright side, Jackson says that the awful throw got him out of a ticket.

“I actually got pulled over by New York City police, they pulled me over in my car,” Jackson said.  “I said, ‘I’ve got my license.’ Right? Because I was a little nervous he pulled me over.”

“Then he said, ‘You know, that pitch was terrible,'” Jackson said. “He didn’t give me a ticket, no nothing. He said, ‘I don’t want to mess up your day because you made me laugh.'”

Even sportscasters made fun of Jackson after the throw.

“It’s good he never had a choice between playing for the Mets or being a rapper,” said one.

Others got quite a chuckle from Jackson coming within inches of hιtting a cameraman. Either way, Jackson won’t have to endure the embarrassment long since he has an upcoming album and television show.
