R&B superstar Chris Brown is in jail cooling his heels and might be stuck there for about a month or so.

However, if he wants to get out sooner he has been offered a “Get Out of Jail” card – but, it is not for free.

About a week ago, a judge ordered Brown to remain in jail to await a trial for his D.C. assault charges, after he was kicked out of a Malibu rehab center for breaking the facility’s rules.

Since then, his lawyer Mark Geragos, has been running around trying to work on a deal that might help escape confinement prematurely.

Fortunately for Chris, Geragos may have found a way to get him home, according to TMZ.

The celebrity news website states that there is a deal being finalized after Geragos met and spoke with the D.C. assault victim’s lawyer. It has been said that they are working out an out of court, civil settlement to have the charges dropped.

“We’re told Geragos may have already sealed the deal, but if not … it should be done in a day or two,” TMZ claims.

Drawing a clearer picture, the website went on to say, “So here’s the likely resolution.  The alleged victim gets a ton of money (our educated guess is several hundred thousand dollars), D.C. prosecutors drop the criminal assault case and the Rihanna judge then lets Chris out of jail either late this week or early next.”

It is to be remembered that Brown was arrested after the victim claimed that Brown and his bodyguard punched him during a sidewalk argument that turned awry – reportedly not too far away from the White House.

The victim had blood on his face and shirt when officers arrived on the scene. He was taken to a hospital where he was treated for a fractured nasal bone, according to police reports.

  1. Boy I've got such an issue with this "Superstar" reference to this thug. Funny though, he'll soon be out of money once everyon's through with suing him for his true talent of being a dumbazz!

  3. Oh just let Chris out of jail, let this kid go home and stop making such a big production out of this. Enough is enough. He had completed his probation, picked up trash alongside of the road while the public heckled him. Okay?? Now an overzealous judge decides that this isn’t good enough and orders him to rehab for anger management and so on…. This isn’t helping. Let him do what he enjoys – performing.

Just let him out of jail and leave him alone.

  4. that's a corny TMZ media , huh ?

  5. Chris Brown is OK. We are all different and he is tired of being fucked with – the paparazzi needs to go to jail, not Chris. And just for information's sake, he will never run out of money!

  6. The Paparazzi are out of control, regardless of how one feels personally about Chris Brown.

  7. I'm still waiting for the courts to catch up with Rhianna and drop all of this BS from 2009! I keep telling people that Chris Brown is the next Michael Jackson, who was always the LAPD's target. That idiot Tom Sneddon did everything in his power to get Michael Jackson put away. He even said if he did he would retire a happy man, but we all know what happened and that was with other people trying to help the LAPD get Michael, but Chris is giving these people ammo all the time because of his anger, so unlike Mike he will be a frequent visitor to prison if he doesn't allow a cooler head to prevail! They are setting him up and for reason he is the only one who doesn't see that!!

  8. Exactly Saje Williams! How could people have an opinion of a person they don't even know?
