Vowing to never F-up again, Chris Brown told friends in calls from the jailhouse he currently resides in that he has learned his lesson, according to a report by TMZ.
TMZ learned from those getting calls from Brown that he feels like “a caged animal.” Jail he said, is “the worst experience of his life.” He is reportedly spending his time working out and writing music in his cell.
Brown has to settle an assault case in Washington, D.C. in order to be released for probation violations in Los Angeles that stem from his assault on then-girlfriend, singer Rihanna.
Brown’s legal troubles began when he was just 19 and assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna in a rented Lamborghini in Hollywood. In 2009 he pled guilty to felony assault and was sentenced to five years of probation and 1,400 hours of community service.
But in October, Brown was again arrested on assault charges in Washington, D.C. for allegedly punching a man near the White House.
The judge ruled that Brown must remain in treatment pending the outcome of the Washington assault charge pending against him. Then on March 14 the police came and arrested Brown at the Malibu treatment center for reportedly failing to make treatment progress on the anger and rehabilitation treatment he was ordered to undergo.
He was “cooperative when taken into custody” according to news reports, as he was picked up and taken to the Los Angeles County men’s central jail.
