“I plan on having a baby next year,” the former pageant queen, Kenya Moore has recently stated. Kenya has decided to go the route of in vitro fertilization. “I’m going to do in vitro; I just have to figure out whose sperm to use!”
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star shocked fans last month when she revealed her plans to become impregnated within a six month period. Most fans had the assumption that Moore planned on getting pregnant by her rich oil tycoon boyfriend; she had other ideas in mind.
According to TMZ last Friday, Moore is very serious about the pregnant in six months ordeal. Moore, 42 underwent surgery to improve her chances of conception. She wants a healthy and full- term pregnancy. Sources close to Moore and the situation say that Kenya had several fibroid tumors (leiomyomas) removed (myomectomy). As soon as she heals from the surgery, Moore plans on starting the in vitro fertilization treatments. Uterine fibroids are noncancerous growths of the uterus that often appear during childbearing years. Black women are more likely to have fibroids than women of other racial groups.
ViaInstagram, Moore confirmed the surgery stating” Thank you for all your well wishes and kind regards, letting my family and friends know I successfully underwent fibroid surgery as it was reported. Yes, I’m okay. No appetite yet. Excellent female doctors in Atlanta!#proudsisters #closertomydreams #Im not 43 yet!”
With all her beauty and brains a baby she wants…a baby she deserves, we wish you the best, Kenya!
