We sometimes think that the greatest enemies of black males are men like George Zimmerman. But honestly, I don’t agree. Sometimes, the greatest enemies to black male survival and success can be other black men. There are some men who are so misguided in their thinking that they seek to harm the spirit and potential of their brother, infecting them with the mental illness that comes along with living in an oppressive society.
I don’t think that people should necessarily condemn other black people outright, but you don’t have to automatically accept someone’s behavior if you find it be to detrimental to the survival of you and your family. This video was sent to me by a group of young students out of Miami based on the lessons they learned from my lecture series, “The 8 Principles of Black Male Empowerment.” This guide is a personal survival kit for black men who not only want to avoid the pitfalls of our society, but who also want to fly like eagles instead of allowing the world to weigh them down.
The audio file isn’t free of charge, but the price is kept very low to make it affordable. Besides that, it’s only a fraction of the cost of the other things that our kids buy that they don’t need, like $250 pairs of Air Jordans. So, if you make the small investment, I guarantee that it will change your son’s life. The testimonials have been incredibly positive.
