Kevin Hart at White HouseBy Brandon Simmons

With all of the seriousness the President has faced this year, the Obamas received a little holiday laughs to finish their year. Recently comedian Kevin Hart visited the White House with and shared the experience with his Instagram followers. Hart, accompanied by girlfriend Eniko Parrish, visited the over  200-year-old residence that has housed 44 Presidents of the United States. A place full of history, the “Laugh at my Pain” star was nothing short of grateful for the experience.

““Wow…words can’t describe how amazing this is!!! #Blessed #WhiteHouse #HolidayPartyWithThePresident #BestDayEver,” Hart wrote under a post of him and his girlfriend in front of the White House.

There were other notable pics taken and posted to Hart’s Instagram. One of those pictures was him in the Green Room. The Green Room is most noted as the room where the first war was declared in the White House. Hart posted a picture of him standing next to a painting in the room with the following quote:

“I’m a young man from Philadelphia who had a dream of becoming a successful comedian & that dream has became a reality, I thank God for all that he has done for me & my family. I am standing in the Green Room of the “White House” in complete aww. “How did I get here” is what I just asked myself & the answer that I came up with was GOD!!!! I know ur proud mom RIP Nancy Hart knowing that your son is doing some amazing things….love u.”

Of course, no trip to the White House could be complete without taking a picture with the Chief of State himself, Barack Obama.

“Today was one of the BEST days of my life….. #History #BreathTaking #GodIsAmazing,” Hart said in an Instagram collage of the him and Obama and the president giving a speech. Hart has a lot to be inspired and excited about considering he has a film with Robert DeNiro and Sylvester Stallone opening soon entitled, “Grudge Match.”
