Venus Williams Sells Her House to Her Mom for Just $10

Venus Williams is loaded, everyone knows that.  The benefits to her family are that when you have relatives with plenty of money, some things are free or cheap.  TMZ is reporting that Venus has agreed to sell her home to her mother for a surprisingly small amount of money.  For just $10, Oracene Williams is taking possession of Venus’ Florida home, which is 2,804 square feet.

The house is located in Jupiter, Florida and Venus apparently wants to live elsewhere.

The small exchange of money is probably for tax purposes and keeps the transaction legal. The house was bought for $310,000 back in 2000 and has four bedrooms and three baths.   That also happened to be the year that Venus won the U.S. Open, Wimbledon, and an Olympic gold medal.

Due to standard price appreciation, the house is probably worth over a million bucks. But the gift is nothing for Venus, who has an estimated net worth of $60 million.

But Serena Williams has Venus beat, both on the court and in her bank account.  Serena is worth $100 million herself.  So, there is plenty of money to go around in this family and both of these ladies enjoy taking care of mama.  We love it.

Such wonderful daughters, a modern day answer to the question can anything good come out of Compton California. When they first started critics told their father they would never become anything because they were poor girls from Compton, their father told the reporters almost 17 years ago, We are going to make you " eat dem words " and boy dem words must seem like gravel that you have in dem mouths. lol God is Great !

When she does that, it means there are no strings attached. Unlike other wealthy children, who gifts their parents while keeping what they give in their names…. Way too go Venus!

    Venus you are tremendously great:
It is apparent that mother Williams has been afforded all the blessings of all times. Mom you have two daughters that a parallel to non-other. The question that begs this answer is: Mom, are you lucky? And the real answer is: NO. Your daughters know what they are for. They know what nice children should do for their parents.
Venus, I don’t know you personally, consequently however, having read this storey kindly permit me to submit my emotional thought process/s.
Add faith to a dream and it will manifest as a belief.
Saturate your belief with action and it will become a part of life.
Perseverance if added will make all this be a sought after goal.
Inject patience and time and you will culminate into a dream comes true.
Mom! Good things come to those who wait, however, the best things come to those who seize the moment and make it their own.
To this special family, Parents and children, Success is measured not so much by the position one has reached in life, but, by the obstacle one overcame whilst trying to succeed.

Everybody is talking about MOM , and that's great, BUT ,what about dad who nurtured their game on the tennis court and believed in them, and remained in their life despite divorcing Oracene?/

SE Smith, you are talking apples and oranges. You need to read Richard Williams autobiography. There is no way Oracene could have put them on the path they are on and turn them into the icons they have become. Richard had a lot of anger, and it took a lot of anger to forge ahead and continue the legacy started by Althea Gibson and Arthur Ashe. Of course Oracene was a good and mother nurturing mother, but seemed somewhat passive like Venus. White folks run over top of passive people, but they were somewhat afraid of Richard, they didn’t know what bag he was going to come out of. He stood up to their criticism and fought back. But what I like about Mr. Williams the best was his decision not to return to Indian Wells(2001) in Riverside County, CA., after his daughters were harassed and ridiculed because she didn’t want to put her career in jeopardy by playing. Marriages break up and one of the reasons are infidelity. We don’t what went down, but the norm is to blame the Black Man for all wrongs, and disregard anything that he may have done well. READ HIS BOOK, and feel like a fool for what you said.

Lots of love MOM, but my "SHOUT OUT" goes to Mr. Richard Williams who molded his daughters into natural treasures and Icons. These young women went through and continue to fight Media hatred, and hatred in general. Serena, she is her her father's daughter, she will not be denied bless you Serena.

You know, even though Mrs. Williams is their mother, that is the most beautiful thing a loving daughter can do for her loving mother. How wonderful. Wow! That is so beautiful. Venus and Serena's mom never misses a game. She is always there; I know because I watch all of their games. They are terrific on that court and with their family.
