‘MasterChef’ Finalist Arrested, Has History of Odd, Criminal Behavior
Josh Marks is a seven footer who knows how to cook. He also seems to be a bit troubled after his arrest recently, which surprised those who supported his appearance on “Master Chef.” His encounter with police was incredibly bizarre, and he is accused of punching a cop and trying to steal his gun.
He also said that he was God and had to be taken down with batons and pepper spray. His lawyers are having him looked at, and he says that he wasn’t in his right mind when all of this went down. What’s most interesting about all of this is that they say that he wasn’t on drugs at the time. But this isn’t the first time he’s had a run-in with the law. He was also accused of pretending to live in an apartment complex when he actually did not.
Now we’ve learned this isn’t the first time Marks has had a run in with the law.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Marks was arrested in June for trespassing in a Chicago condo complex — after allegedly sneaking in on numerous occasions and bizarrely telling residents he lived there. He DID NOT.
At the time, the building sent a WARNING to residents to be on the lookout for a “very tall” African-American man, who “enters the building by catching the door.” They were told to call 911. The case is still pending.
As for the assault case, Marks has been charged with two felonies and faces 14 years in prison.
