Janet Jackson Has Converted to Islam and Left the Music Industry

Post By RelatedRelated Post

Singer Janet Jackson had a widely celebrated wedding to billionaire Wissam Al Mana just a few months ago.  You might have heard that the wedding cost millions of dollars, and since that time, Janet hasn’t done any acting or released any music.

It has since been reported that Janet has moved to the Middle East and converted to Islam.  Surprisingly, she also has disavowed music and left the industry entirely.  Janet says that part of the reason she wants to leave music is so that she and her husband can live a private life away from the media.

Al Mana made his fortune through the Al Mana Retail group, which is owned and controlled by his family.

This is Janet Jackson’s third marriage and her last major media appearance was in a Tyler Perry film, “Why Did I Get Married?”

Janet is now 47-years old and still looking great.  She got her big break in 1982 after releasing the album control.   We will always love Janet, whether she lives in the US, the middle east or anywhere else.

  2. Great for her! Let's see how the American Paparazzi try to find her NOW! LOL! I love it!

  3. i m very happy for her because she embraced Islam.

    • oh corection its nat few months ago but yearz ago kwani u gyz r loodin wit window 3 stly up mbos faimba

  5. Cant stand Religions or Religious People and her music career wasn’t going anywhere, anymore, anyway. But nevertheless, i’m glad she has found LOVE & marriage again with a Billionaire!

Maybe now she will begin to travel to Africa to feed the hungry and help create sustainable homes and more for these people instead. She can start with Victims of whats called “Nome”.

  6. this is all gossip. i want to see the interview when she talks about her conversion. Any female who visits Saudi and many Islamic countries has to be covered much more than here in US. Islam a mind-bender? hmm. the qur’an says the only religion is submission/surrender to the Creator of the heavens and earth, who has no partners. every religion and spiritual path is in the qur’an for those who seek confirmation. christians are said to be close to muslims because they are not arrogant. Not what i’m seeing here! so are folks really christian? Or shall we say, believers? guess who the judge is!

  7. All of u that r being stupidly judegemental r just bags of degenerate gossips.if janet decides 2 fflw d ryt path of islam is it ur buisness?if ur christian, who cares?do ur own let her do hers.d bloody media just potray islam 2 mean “terrorism” well its not.u dont judge d religion according 2 some pple’s sick heart.when nd if any of u meet well praticing muslims, its so diff 4rm wot it looks like.d america’s so called “women’s liberation” was given 2 muslim women 14 centuries ago.true islam.women have a lot of rights in islam and her husband is not allowed 2 even lift a finger 2 hit her.its a big sin! A husband must give his wife her rights and vice versa.compare it 2 america, where thousands of women suffer domestic violence, half of them 4rm their spouses! So my dear pple, janet dosent need ur so calld gossips.she just made d best dcision of her life.go get urs.

  10. I’ve read over a lot of these comments and I laugh. If everyone would mind their own damn business and worry about what’s going on in your backyard things would run so much more smoothly. Who cares what religion she chose, who she married, how she treated MJs kids, what she wears, or anything about her personal life, it’s HER LIFE… Let her live.

  11. I bet you she took all her piercings out lol, Do your thang Janet Jackson ain’t mad at ya!!

  12. I wish you peaceful and happy years, Allah be willing.

  13. All these people with their own opinions. True or not, it’s her life, her choice. Let her be.

  15. I wish Janet the best with her new husband and new country, but it saddens me that she would give up her Salvation for it all! I pray that ALL will come to the knowledge of the TRUTH which is in Christ Jesus (Yeshua)!!!

  16. Salaamu Alaykum sister Jannah; this name I’ve choose for you. It means Heaven! Insha Allah contact me. Much love an success to you an your husband. Sister Wazirah Najwa Bilqis.

  17. So many negativity towards Janet by Christians and so much negativiity by Muslims against Christians. As a Catholic I do not hate Muslims I disagree with them. A Muslim friend of mine once said that if a real christian and a real muslim stood side by side their actions would be the same. I wish her a happy marriage but hope she was never christian in the first place for if she was she has turned her back on Jesus Christ, the Messiah and our Savior. May God have mercy on her. It is not my job to judge.

  18. That’s Great Best of Luck to her for her new life 🙂

  19. Allahu Akbar 🙂 What is ur problem if she has converted to Islam??? What ya go do about eh ?
Who the hell are u to question her religion ?

  20. I appreciate the way DjM has described the true status of women in Islam. We need to study and understand each other’s faith and feelings. May Almighty bless us all.

  21. I appreciate the way DjM has described the true status of women in Islam. There are good and bad in all faiths, religions and societies. We just need to study and understand each other’s faith and feelings. May Almighty bless us all.

  22. Some of you are so quick to believe everything. Janet didn’t retire and actually talked about releasing new music in a Rolling Stones interview which was a celebration of the 20th anniversary of her Janet. album. And I don’t think she’s a Muslim that picture was from almost 3 years ago. Seriously, the woman takes a break in the entertainment industry since she was 7 and all of a sudden she retired.

  23. There’s nothing that differentiate a black muslim to a white muslim…..We are bound by a common name…MUSLIM.
Wish Janna the very best in life

  26. read the translation of the Quran so you can know the pure truth about Islam, believe me the Quran will lead you to the right path and it will answer all your questions – by Allah Grace- , just read it.

  28. Congrats my dear sister in Islam, see d differences BTW d Islam and others. Am happy for you jenet, may Allah guide you and protect

  29. So she now denounces her music for the sake of following her brother’s footstep into the Muhammadan faith.

Time will tell… I sincerely do hope he’ll be a great husband to her and not treat her like an ‘abeed (slave), which is common in the so-called deen of islam. Get my drift?

In most cases; and in this world, money marries into money… If she was an ordinary working class lady; would she have been able to marry him? Or would he have married her?

I wish her much peace and love in her supposed retirement from the music industry.

  30. That is good for her may Allah bles her in her marage ameen

  32. ok

  33. Janet can do what she wants. Why is it even a story about her converting. It’s her business people. Islam or not it’s not are concern. The funny thing is most of you Muslim haters don’t know anything about the religion. The only thing you know about it is what media told you. Go read and watch unbiased books and documentaries. Stop watching the fake news stories that are trying to paint us in a bad light. Peace and love too all ✌️

All I hear can be a bunch of whining about something which you could fix for those that werent too busy in search of attention.
