Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Porsha Stewart is stepping out into the music scene. Whether people believe it or not she has actually had a blossoming singing career since her start on the hit reality show. This doubt might just come from the fact that there has been no proof to the back up these claims.
In one particular episode Kandi Burruss, former member of the R&B group Xscape, and other cast members called Porsha’s bluff and demanded that she sing something for all of them, but due to an interruption it never happened. Can you say “saved by the bell.”
Though it seems like she has been beating around the bush, we will not have to wait much longer to hear Porsha’s new music. Recently, the reality star opened up during an interview with ABC News Radio. She spoke about her latest music project, which will be based on the theme of love and relationships, and she also spoke about things the show did not reveal.
When asked about her music she said, “I’ll be coming out with a project. I’ve been working with different producers to get that together. It’s a very serious thing to me. It’s not just play-play. I’m not just trying to put out a one hit wonder.” Let’s hope so, because everyone thinks they can have a song on the radio these days.
She also revealed why viewers do not see her 9 year old step son on Real Housewives. “He’s a nine-year-old little boy. He’s my stepson and I absolutely adore him. We[Kordell and I] did make the decision not to feature him on the show. [Real Housewives] is something that I decided to do and Kordell signed up to support me. Syre…doesn’t have a place on the show for me.”
Even more shocking, Porsha spoke about a miscarriage she had, and her husband’s reaction to the negative pregnancy test as seen on the show. “With me suffering a miscarriage before that [the recent pregnancy test scene] was difficult for both of us and…at the moment he [Kordell] doesn’t want to put too much pressure on it because he knows how much that means to me. And really when you’re trying to have a baby the best thing to do is to just not concentrate on it, just let it happen.”
Well lets wish Miss Porsha the best with both her musical and baby endeavors. I’m sure we will be seeing and hearing more from her soon.
