Michael Jackson’s Family, Kids Want $40 Billion in Wrongful Death Suit
There might be a boatload of money exchanging hands in the wrongful death lawsuit of the late Michael Jackson. According to TMZ, the family is suing for $40 billion dollars, which is a huge chunk of money. They defendant in the suit is AEG Live, an entertainment company that hired Dr. Conrad Murray.
Dr. Murray is the man who was convicted of killing Michael and some blame Michael’s addiction to drugs on his death. But there are others who feel that Dr. Murray should never have given in to Michael’s impulses.
Michael’s children, Prince, Paris, and Blanket joined forced with his mother Katherine are saying that $10 billion is for the future earnings that their father would have had if he’d remained alive. The rest is for other damages, such as pain and suffering. AEG is saying that the number is out of control, since Michael’s career was on the down slide at the time of his death and that there is no way he could have earned that kind of money performing.
Well if Michael careee was on the downward slope , then why did they hire him to perfotm?. People keep saying Michael was a drug addict, that is false. The medication that Michael weer using was to make him sleep. I would not call that drug acciction. Many peopler need help to sleep, because he could afford to get what is best to meet his nedd does not make him a drug accict.
The only problem I have is looking at those kids and trying to convince myself that they are black, and that they are Michael’s kids.
The fact that Dr. Murray was convicted is all that is needed to move forward with the wrongful death civil suit. I wish the Jackson kids total success and they should not settle for anything less than one third of what they are asking.
