Police Chief That Approved Chris Brown’s Community Service Resigns
Richmond, VA police chief, Bryan Norwood has resigned, amidst the allegations that Chris Brown reported fraudulent community service. Norwood was the officer that had the case removed for the Richmond Probation Department so he could deal with it exclusively.
TMZ has learned that the Mayor of Richmond and the Chief had reached a “mutual agreement” in regard to his resignation from his post. People in Richmond have speculated that the abrupt resignation was due to the allegations brought against Chris Brown which accuse him of falsely reporting that he completed his community service.
If the L.A. County D.A. can prove that Brown’s community service time is fraudulent, then Brown is facing serious jail time. To add more fuel to the fire Brown and girlfriend Rihanna were seen, over the weekend, at a Grammy party smoking what appeared to be a joint, which is also in direct violation of his probation. The “Black Lindsey Lohan” may have really done himself in this time.
