Britney Spears Camp Not Happy With Rapper Eve’s Allegations That She Didn’t Sing on Scream and Shout
Wondering where Ruff Ryder first lady, Eve, has been lately? Stirring up trouble. Take it easy, she didn’t do it on purpose. Eve was a guest on Bravo’s “ Watch What Happens Live” this week. Host, Andy Cohen was trying to figure out if Britney was actually singing on her new single with Will.i.am, when Eve gave her two cents.
The rapper said, “I heard that might not be Britney.” “That’s what I heard. But, you know I don’t know. It could be Britney, but I heard it wasn’t. I don’t know though, I don’t know.”
The Britney Spears camp fired back. Her rep told MTV News that, “Britney absolutely sings on ‘Scream & Shout.’ “ Will.i.am describes the video with Spears as, “turnt up, amplified, maximized, screaming, shouting.” Britney’s publicist Jeff Raymond told TMZ, “It’s absolute BS. Britney sang the song. Will.i.am wanted her for this song and she sang on it.”
Eve has not directly responded to all of the rumors flying around. However, she retweeted this, on her twitter account, “For the past weeks, blogs have literAlly strived to get @TheRealEve to start beefing by twisting her words. Not working. Lmao.”
