Samuel L. Jackson Flubs Saturday Night Live Skit, Drops F-Bomb

Post By RelatedRelated Post

Saturday Night Live is supposed to be fun, unpredictable , and a platform for the best comic improve. Actor Samuel L. Jackson understood that completely, when he appeared on the NBC show, this weekend.  On the segment “ What’s Up With That” ,that he did with Kenen, the actor slipped up and almost dropped the f-bomb, but caught himself. Looking at the footage viewers and audience members could clearly hear where it was headed. But Jackson, did not stop there.

He followed up the f-bomb by saying “ That’s bulls%#@” , which he didn’t catch in time. A shocked Kenen tried to stay in character, but almost lost it. He told Sam, “ that cost money”, referring to the FCC’s rules and regulations on cursing on a prime time network. Kenen moved on to thank his other guest, comedienne, Carrie Brownstein, who decided it best not to say a word, after Jackson’s flub.

It was a moment that validated SNL being designed as a show of the best comedic improv. Once you say it, you can’t take it back, it’s live. Jackson took to his twitter page saying,  “ I only said FUH not F @%$ was sposed to cut off da BULLS%#@, blew it!!”
