Beyonce to Romney: “Take That Mitches”

Some people are fully capable of winning gracefully. Others, not so much. And after last night, we can place Beyonce in the latter category.

Last night after President Obama’s victory, Beyonce tweeted a pic which read “TAKE THAT MITCHES” on her Tumblr.

First of all, it was kinda lame. Take that “MITCHES”, really? Not exactly a witty turn on Mitt Romney’s name. Maybe “TAKE THAT WILLARD” would’ve been better, but Mitches?

Of course, the post has since been removed, as are most stupid posts once a celebrity’s publicist realizes her client has done something dumb.

Earlier this week, Jay-Z substituted “Mitt” for “b**ch” during a performance of “99 Problems” at an Obama rally in Ohio.

Jay-Z previously held a fundraiser for President Obama at his 40/40 in New York, where  supporters paid $40,000 a plate for the privilege of getting within arms length of President Obama. At the fundraiser, President Obama acknowledged what he and Jay-Z have in common, saying “We both have daughters. And our wives are more popular than we are.”

President Obama has also said that he gave Jay-Z a bit of advice when Blue Ivy Carter was born.

Still, Beyonce’s message to Romney supporters was in poor taste.
