Police Take Over Will Smith’s Home to Prepare for Michelle Obama
On Monday TMZ reported that it looked like there was some major trouble at Will and Jada Smith’s home when they had a team of L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies all over the house. The team was actually there to make sure that the home was secured for a lunch that is being held for The First Lady, Michelle Obama.
On Thursday, Will and Jada, as well as Salma Hayek will be hosting a luncheon that will cost $2,500 per person, and that ‘s the price for the cheaper attendees. Serious contributors will be paying $10,000 for the admission of a couple and that will include a photo with the First Lady, Michelle Obama…and, of course, the lunch.
The Emergency Operations Bureau of the Sheriff’s Department brought several teams to sweep the grounds from the inside out.
The Smith’s home is in Calabasas in L.A county, in California. The Sheriff’s deputies and Secret Service spent the day at the house making sure there were no security breaches.
With the election getting closer and closer, the Obama’s appear to be pulling out all the celebrity big guns. Just last month, rapper Jay-Z and his R& B superstar wife, Beyonce, also hosted a fundraiser for President Obama’s re-election. The event took place on September 18 in Manhattan with only 100 guests, each reported to have paid $40,000 per ticket.
