Phaedra Parks $30M Lawsuit Settled for a Measly $2,500
It might seem a bit odd to file a multi-million dollar lawsuit and only walk away with enough money to pay a month’s rent and a car note. Phaedra Parks had big dollar signs in her eyes when she filed her $30 million dollar lawsuit against Vibe Magazine, but was awarded just a pittance relative to what she aimed for in the first place: $2,500.
Phaedra was bitter toward Vibe for portraying her to be an unethical attorney in their pages. The article, titled, “Lies of a Real Housewife,” led her to file suit with a vengeance, demanding a payment that would surely bring the magazine to its knees. Phaedra’s mother also followed suit by filing suit, asking for $6 million herself. Her mother was awarded the princely sum of $10, which might give her enough money to buy her daughter a value meal at McDonald’s, as long as she doesn’t try to super-size.
We’re not sure if the two women are going to share the wealth or haul that massive load home by herself. Maybe the two can make their money back on the new “Donkey Booty” DVD that Phaedra is releasing. It’s set to come out on Black Friday.
