Lil Wayne Released From Hospital For Dehydration and Migraine, Not Seizures
Rapper Lil Wayne has been released from the hospital after being treated for severe dehydration and migraine. Despite reports of the rapper suffering from two seizures, his representative is saying those reports are false. The representative told E! News: “He is at home on doctor-mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love.”
The rapper is reportedly recovering at his mother’s house in New Orleans and logged into his Twitter page to thank his fans for their support. “Thanx for all the prayers!” he tweeted. “I am good.” Fans tweeted the rapper well wishes. “I think I would definitely stop listening to music if something serious happened to u and I mean that!! #YMCMB,” one fan tweeted. Another fan cautioned the rapper about his lifestyle, tweeting “steady on that lean – easy on them bars.”
The sudden illness has caused the rapper to miss his court appearance for the ongoing battle he has with Quincy Jones III, in which the rapper is suing Jones for making an authorized documentary that he has labeled a “scandalous portrayal.” If Lil Wayne doesn’t recover by Monday, the judge could declare the case a mistrial or the rapper’s representation will have to try the case without him. The rapper’s legal team will make a decision by Monday.
