Lil Wayne Has Seizures on a Plane: Sent to the Hospital

We don’t know the health status of the rapper Lil Wayne, but for a person who openly brags about drug use, it’s easy to wonder if his fast life is starting to catch up with him.  Lil Wayne’s private jet took an emergency landing in Texas after the rapper started to suffer “seizure-like symptoms” on the plane.

Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., was taken to a local hospital for treatment after the scare.  He was in the hospital for several hours and later released.

Lil Wayne has openly admitted that he was addicted to “Sizzurp,” a  concoction that often consists of codeine syrup, mixed with alcohol, sprite and other interesting products.  He also talks about how drug use impacts his creativity.   We can’t speculate if drug use had anything to do with Wayne’s recent incident, but he does enjoy living life on the edge.  We hope that he’s OK.
