Garcelle Beauvais Let Go From TV Gig

Most of us remember the days when Garcelle Beauvais played the stunning desk agent, Francesca,  that Jamie loved to love on the “The Jamie Foxx Show”. The hit sitcom aired on the WB Network from 1996 to 2001.

For the last two seasons, Beauvais has been on Franklin & Bash, a drama-comedy television series on the cable channel TNT.

On Wednesday, Beauvais told her Twitter followers that she was dropped from the show, just as they were celebrating being renewed for a third season.

Beauvais, who said she was “stunned” tweeted,

“Just found out that I’m not being asked back on Franklin & Bash.”

The 45 year old actress played Hanna Linden, a senior partner at the Infeld Daniels firm. On the show, she was perceived to be the obvious choice for the position of the next managing partner after Stanton Infeld (Malcolm McDowell).

While Beauvais does not appear to be aware of  the reasons for her character to be axed from the show, she did not stay focused on her departure and instead, shared what she will be doing on other shows.

She said,

“Had fun on Franklin & Bash [and I] wish them a great season. Lots of projects in the works”

The actress then went on to share that she will be making an appearance on other shows such as Psych, where she will be a love interest for one of the leading men. She will also be making an appearance on Arrested Development, although it is not clear how often she will be appearing or how for how long.
