Bobbi Kristina’s Reality Show Reveals Life Without Her Mother
Twitter fans of Bobbi Kristina are always reminded of her mother’s legacy. The only child of the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina posts tweets about her mother daily. Most of them saying she misses her and others speaking to their resemblance in personality and/or physical appearance. It’s no question that the aspiring actress was inseparable from her mother. Her relationship with her father Bobby Brown, however, has not been so loving. It has since further deteriorated following Houston’s death in February.
When Bobby Brown married his second wife in June, Bobbi Kristina didn’t attend the wedding. Instead, she filmed her new reality show on the Lifetime network that follows the Houston family in the aftermath of Whitney Houston’s death. The press release for the show states: “Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law, manager and most trusted confidant, manages the business and estate of the beloved singer and her most prized possession, her daughter Bobbi Kristina. The series will follow Pat and her husband, Gary, Whitney Houston’s brother, as they take on their greatest challenge, supporting and guiding Bobbi Kristina as she faces the world alone, without the one person she relied on the most, her Mother.” The show features Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law and manager, Pat’s daughter Rayah, Whitney’s brother Gary, Bobbi Kristina and Grammy Award-winning singer Cissy Houston. The show is slated to premier on October 24.
Rumors ran rampant about Pat Houston’s disappointment in Bobbi Kristina’s relationship with Nick Gordon — a young man the late singer raised as her son when he was 12-years-old when his father went to prison and his mother was unable to take care of him. Bobbi Kristina and Gordon have posted candid pictures of themselves kissing one another and lying on top of each other on Twitter. The two were recently involved in a horrific car crash. Details regarding the crash are still unclear, but many allege the two were arguing at the time of the crash.
