TN Woman Who Fell Over Cruise Ship Identified

News Channel 3 in Bartlett, TN has revealed the identity of a Bartlett woman who fell off the side of the cruise ship she was on. The woman fell off the ship on September 16.

The woman was seen falling off by other passenger on Royal Caribbean’s Allure of The Seas. The other passengers reported that she fell over the railing. The witnesses’ reports were confirmed by a security video.

News Channel 3 has reported that the woman was A’riel Brianna LaBelle. The 21 year old woman’s identity was confirmed with her family by Daniel Hight of News Channel 3.

When LaBelle fell off, the cruise ship was on its way to the Bahamas.

The following is a Tweet sent by A’riel as she boarded the ship:

“Lord keep up safe on this gigantic cruise ship! Let the festivities begin!! See you suckers in a week =]”

Multiple Coast Guard search and rescue crews spent two days searching for her and covered over 2,300 square miles.

The Coast Guard report says,

“The ship made multiple public announcements and began a complete search of the ship, in efforts to locate the guest. A review of the ship’s closed-circuit camera footage observed a 21-year-old female guest from the United States going overboard. The location of the ship at the time the guest went overboard was marked on the ship’s Global Positioning System (GPS). Two other ships that were close by at the time, the Carnival Fascination and Majesty of the Seas, assisted Allure of the Seas with the search.”

Many codolences to the family. Maybe she was dizzy from looking at the water or maybe she was drunk. Who knows. Just stay away from the sides of the boat when it is out to sea! A cruise ship is nothing to play with!!!! She said “see you suckers in a week”. I guess that’s not going to happen now.
