The Rose Club in London is probably cutting some personnel in the security department following a recent incident that nearly caused superstar Rihanna to be thrown out of the club. Witnesses claim an inebriated Rihanna jumped on a table in the private area of the club and collapsed when the table couldn’t support her weight. Her fall caused champagne bottles and broken glass to scatter everywhere. The club’s bouncers quickly moved in, grabbing Rihanna and escorting her out of the club—until friends started yelling at them.

“They were trying to eject her when her girlfriends starting screaming, ‘That’s Rihanna, you idiots!’” said onlookers. Rihanna joined in with her friends asking the bouncers, “Don’t you know who I am?” according to reports. “Ri was telling the bouncers to get off and there was a scuffle,” one witness said. “I don’t think they recognized her.” The witness claims before bouncers reached the exit doors they realized they’d grabbed the singer, which led the club’s manager to patch things up by providing her free drinks and another table.
