Evander Holyfield Gets Smacked Down by Judge for Owing over $500,000 in Child Support

Former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield keeps getting hammered by money problems.  TMZ is reporting that Holyfield’s child support debt has now risen above the half-million mark, to $563,900.91.   It has been originally reported that the boxer owed $372,097 for his 18-year old daughter, Emani.

Evander had been held in contempt of court for not paying his $2,950 monthly obligation and wrote a check to avoid further legal problems.  But now, it appears that he is never going to get out from under the debts that were created by his s*x life.

Now, the judge is ordering that a percentage of Evander’s income go directly toward resolving the debts he owes to the mothers of his kids.  Maybe athletes should keep this kind of thing in mind when they are meeting a lot of women and sleeping with all of them.  It definitely comes back to haunt them later.  Holyfield, Terrell Owens and many other prominent athletes are dogged by child support problems after their careers are done, all due to poor family planning.
