Actor Michael Clarke Duncan Dies at 54
Actor Michael Clarke Duncan, known for appearances in films such as “The Green Mile” and “The Whole Nine Yards,” has died. The actor was just 54 years old when he passed. The passing came suddenly, according to sources familiar with the situation. His fiancee, Omarosa Manigault, was with him at the hospital in Los Angeles when he passed. She’d left the hospital for a short while and he was dead when she got back.
According to TMZ, the actor had not yet fully recovered from a myocardial infarction on July 13. Omarosa revive him when he went down on that day and she has been by his side ever since. Most thought that he was going to make a full recovery, but he never did.
Omarosa’s rep says, “[Omarosa] Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date.”
Duncan got his start as a body guard for major celebrities like Will Smith and Jamie Foxx, and later got into acting himself. He was a pretty good actor at that. RIP.

jus wow! smh…they’r leaving here too soon and too young. I remember him vividly in “Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins”, not in the other two movies mentioned in the article. R.I.P. “big man.”
RIP Mr. Ducan……….your will be missed
How sad….I had assumed he would recover. May he rest in peace.
I’m sad that he didn’t make it after the July incident. I really enjoyed him in the Planet of the Apes with Mark Wahlberg and he made me cry in The Green Mile. I wish peace and strength for Omarosa as she says prepares a farewell ceremony instead of a wedding ceremony for the man she loves.
Wow… this truly shocked me on this one. I’m sorry to hear about his and I hope that he’s in a better place.
RIP Mr. Duncan. I used to hang at the 50 Yard Line nightclub on the south side of Chicago before Michael became famous and he was a bouncer there. He was a real cool dude who was very nice to all the patrons. I remember teasing him about his physical resemblance to champion body builder Lee Haney, he got a kick out of that. Class act, no doubt about it.
awwww, he was such a gentle giant and I loved his contagious childish smile. May he Rest In Peace!!
RIP Micheal Duncan, you were a great actor and you will be missed.
Being a fairly big guy myself, who wasn’t quite as in shape as Michael Duncan was, I’m lost for words right now. I didn’t know he was quite that ill from his heart attack until later. May he rest in peace.
RIP Black I Remember seeing Him at a Laker Game when Horry hit that Big Shot! Staples went crazy! I will miss seeing my Brother MCD RIP!!!
I liked him as an actor and I am sorry that he has left us already.
RIP Michael, your body of work lives on and you will be truly missed. That voice, that beautiful voice. Sincere Condolences to his family and friends.
So shocking and incredibly sad. I too thought he would make a full recovery. This is so sad.
Michael will be missed, life is short so we have to take care of ourselves, and surround ourselves with People who care about our health. In the Green Mile he was able to save lives with his special gift. Maybe God needed him in Heaven. Rest in Peace.

My condolence to his family. I have no idea who he was, because I have gone to the movies in years, but may his soul find peace. God bless.
Wow I thought this wonderful actor would recoup after his heart attack. And as far as I’m concerned you are not in a better place but God must have a better plan for you. May God bless you.
Another King has left us. His smile, dignity and grace is now gone and all we are left are memories. My condolences to his family, friends and fans.
R.I.P. YOUR MAJESTY
A great down-to-earth black man!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can see that I wasnt the only 1 who thought he’d recover. His smile was indeed contagious. Thanks 4 gracing us with your talent.
He attended Alcorn University in Lorman, MS during the early eighties.
He made me cry in the Green Mile. He will be sadly missed. RIP
Rest In Peace! Awwww, he was such a gentle giant and I loved his contagious childish smile. My deepest sympathy to his family. May he Rest In Peace!!
I first met Michael as a teenager ( he’s was @ 14). He was a giant then with the same powerful voice, a huge smile and Big Heart! Such a beautiful spirit. You will be missed. RIP
R.I.P Michael Clarke Duncan, we love you, but God love you more.
Karma is certainly a b***h. Michael was a sweetheart but his girlfriend was a b***h! She made people cry with her nasty attitude.
Now look who’s crying now!
Liz, you are one sorry a*s stinking b***h. How do you equate someone’s nasty attitude, with the loss of someone else’s death? If this was karma, then karma, will soon be visiting your rotten a*s.
Yeah Liz, your a sorry a*s person.. sounds like you, just from your one comment. I’d be watchin out..
Life and Death ARE BOTH ONE, AND THE SAME..WE KNOW YOU ARE HAPPY. i DO HOPE THEY WOULD TOO.LOVE YOU MICHEAL CLARKE DUNCAN! HATEP BRO. HATEP……..
