Singer John Legend Admitted to the Hospital with “Flu-Like Symptoms”

Singer John Legend has admitted himself to the emergency room after falling ill during a long and grueling travel schedule.  The singer got back to New York City on August 12 after a trip to South Africa, where he caught what appeared to be the flu.

“He’s been traveling a lot and must have picked up a flu-bug somewhere along the way, but he’s fine and resting at home now,” his representative told TMZ.

Doctors have recommended that Legend get plenty of rest in order to recover from his hectic schedule.   He’d just returned from going to South Africa to perform a concert for Women’s Month.  The press conference after the concert was delayed after Legend complained about having jet lag.

“Once we’ve released the new album, we’ll tour all over the world, so of course we’ll come back to South Africa, and then we’ll do Cape Town and Durban. It’s a matter of scheduling, but I look forward to coming back to South Africa,” he said.

He is expected to make a full recovery.

“Flu like symptoms” ? When i heard those words in the past the first thing comes to mind is the HIV virus. I hope he gets well and i sure hope he is not a down low brother. That would really suck.

Why are people so negative? That’s what’s wrong with this world today. Hopefully he will feel better real soon.
