Her brother-in-law, Anthony Ochoa, just passed after a long fight with cancer. Anthony was married to Evelyn’s sister Sylvia, and even walked her down the aisle during her wedding.
Ochoa died in New York City and made several appearances on the show, “Basketball Wives.” According to TMZ, Anthony appears quite a bit in the episode about the wedding. VH1 chose not to air the episode because of Chad’s arrest for domestic violence.
“Anthony was an amazing husband, father, and brother-in-law. He will be dearly missed,” Evelyn said. Anthony was married to Sylvia for 10 years and the couple had two children. He was 43 years old.

Why is a story about her up here???????
Death is a greivous and hurtful thing too anyone who has lost a family member no matter what their status is in life.We know that Evelyn has said and done hurtful things too others but we should have sympathy and compassion too any who maybe experiencing the death of a loved one Evelyn has lost a great deal in the past few days and this is one more thorn so I am sure when things settle down she will look back on her life and all the negativity that she herself brought on and try too move forward with more positive things so let’s not be cruel but have compassion.
Right! There are so many other important stories that are news worthy.
Sorry for the “family’s” loss losing a loved one is not easy but I believe “Sylvia” lost her husband. Tired of Evelyn, next story please.
Life happens and sometimes it happens at the most inconvenient times. Maybe this will be their wake-up call about Life. It’s not a game, when the cameras have shut off you must deal with it. Unfortunately, this generation will have to learn this the hard way. This is why parents must do their job to be an example and a leader in their kids future. All this world is set up to do it go against you, but it’s up to you to raise responsible, bright, and good citizens who care about themselves and the community in which they live. We need to stop ignorance but must begin in the home.
Sympathy to all family members and friends.
