Whitney Houston’s Family Wanted Ray J Kicked Out of Billboard Awards
Whitney Houston was honored at last nights Billboard Music Awards and in attendance was the singers family. Unfortunately their appearance was marred by an argument as Pat Houston demanded that Houston’s ex-boyfriend Ray J be removed from his seat at the awards show.
Pat Houston, Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina and other members of the Whitney Houston family were seated right next to Ray J, however Pat Houston has long believed that Ray J was a bad influence on his daughter.
Pat had hotel security ask Ray J to move but he refused, a refusal that nearly led to a physical confrontation that they had no right to start.
When a security member from the hotel told Pat Houston that the altercation was about to become physical and would most likely be caught on video Houston’s mom backed down and Ray J kept his seat just as Whitney Houston was about to be honored.
Following the altercation Ray J told his friends in attendance: “Pat ruined what was a great opportunity to honor the woman who I loved.”
In his defense Ray J continues to claim that he had no idea Whitney continued to snort cocaine leading up to her death. The Houston family have pointed their collective fingers at Ray J since the time of Whitney’s death which was brought on by prescription drugs, cocaine use and alcohol which ultimately led to her drowning in a Beverly Hills hotel room.
What a disgrace! Pat and Ray J should be ashamed.
Whose father? This report is making no sense.
Whitney’s father, John, is dead and Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, apparently wasn’t there for obvious reasons. Pat Houston is a sister-in-law, is she not?
Pat Houston is not Whitney’s mom, Cissy Houston is, and it isn’t clear in this story that Whitney’s mom was having a problem with RayJ being there.
Was Pat on something before she decided to try to jump RayJ? I mean, it sounds like this was entirely her fault and she is totally to blame for acting out like a class-A clown?
What was she doing, hyping up their new unreal “reality” show; or are all of them being “attention hoes”?
If the Houston family wants to blame someone they need to start with the one who was there, Pat Houston-sister in law, not mother and leave Ray J and Bobby alone. Amazing the only person in the bunch who has no legitimate claim to success other than riding on the success of others and yet we keep hearing incidents about her bullying the males in Whitney’s life for things she darn well knew Whitney was in to. Cissy would never act so disgracefully.
Firstly, the article is poorly written, but it’s nobody’s fault Whitney is dead, but her own. I loved her music and her energy, but her family needs to stop this foolishness; everyone can see the truth!
