Terrell Owens faces the mothers of his kids on ‘Dr. Phil’

There’s never been a shortage of fans who dislike Terrell Owens, and I’m sure there are many folks out there who would like to see him experience some kind of discomfort.

To this group, I offer the following clips of Terrell Owens spending Tuesday afternoon confronted by three women, the mothers of children fathered by Owens and angry that they didn’t receive their child support payments, in front of a live audience and Dr. Phil.

The erstwhile T.V. shrink started the program by going fairly easy on Owens, saying that he’s always been a fan of T.O’s exploits on the field and reading Owens’ foreword to a children’s book: “To my children, may my life serve as an example to you.”

However, that simply served to paint Owens in a more negative light later. When the first mother came out and said that Owens had only seen her child a total of 12 times in her life. “He doesn’t call, he doesn’t send Christmas gifts,” the woman identified as “Kimber” said.

“The thing is, with me traveling back and forth, I don’t have a set schedule,” Owens said. He then added, “Pretty much 90% of the time every time I’ve reached out [to these women], it’s been a bad time.”

Owens admitted to fathering four children with four different women and being “irresponsible in that regard.”

Mom #2, “Melanie,” said that she and her daughter rarely see Owens at all. Owens’ response: The last planned visit was scuttled because Melanie insisted that Owens pay for her plane ticket as well as her daughter’s. Mom #3, “Monique” admitted that her pregnancy was an “oops kind of thing” and said that Owens agreed to increase her child support payments from $6,000 to $12,000 after she agreed to allow the child’s appearance in public with T.O. to improve his general perception.

At the end of the program, Owens met with two of his children, told them that he loved them, and promised to take them to Magic Mountain.

No matter how many awards you get for a job or performance, the biggest reward a person can get is the love and respect from their child; which in my opinion is most rewarding….What a loser TO!

What’s the purpose of this article–to further negate the image of black men?

Once again, the Black Man and his evil p***s at work? Not one person in this whole situation decided to connect the dots. Let me see what do all these fatherless children have in common besides T.O.? Oh, that’s right their mother, who decided too of her own free will open her legs for some man she was not married to or in a committed relationship with & impregnate her. Maybe I could see a man getting away with baby mama’s number 1 & 2. But by the time potential number #3 and then 4 shows up. Let’s be real. They slept with this man because he was a multi-millionare pro-ball player. Not because he was a potential good mate or seemed like he was going to be father of the year. For every 1 Shaq or retired Magic there are 100′s of these men who only played an average of 6 to 10 years starting their career’s in their early 20′s and losing all that fame and money by their early 30′s. If you buy a million dollar house and pay for it, you still have to pay property tax on a million dollar house. Try doing that with no income, 4 different baby momma’s, medical issues from wrecking your body playing pro sports and still trying to keep a entourage. These women made their choices based on stupidity and classism in our society that tells these idiots they’re better off chasing a man like T.O. I expect a guy like T.O. to be fooled into thinking it’s never going to end. But you mean to tell me he found 4 other losers just as stupid? Now they wanna complain. No sympathy. Close your legs ladies or make your own touchdowns.

if both male/female would curb their s****l appetite and before just using their temples as tools just because than we would not be reading and commenting on their selfish behaviors.

When are people going to realize that for every man society wants to burn at the stake as a “deadbeat” or a “loser” there’s a woman who CHOSE to ALLOW him to impregnate her?

As 2 to Tango stated, they had s*x with him simply because of his status and were probably praying to get pregnant.

Start holding the irresponsible women who are spreading their legs for every D-boy, thug, athlete, etc they come in contact with or at least use a condom and birth control!

This article should serve as notice to men as well as women: be careful who you sleep with! These women slept with T.O. because of his fame and his ability to pay them once they got pregnant. Why are they upset he doesn’t spend time with their children-he’s only a business deal! come off it. You must never let your greed and l**t get in the way of good sense. T.O. is just as guilty: his “rolls in the hay resulted in 4 lives that need him to respond to them as a father, noyt a check or some sperm donor.

A father doesn’t necessarily have to be the man who impregnated your mother, but he’s the man who took care of you. T.O. must truly recognize this. The money is in the way, unfortunately. Now that T.O.’s struggling, will he finally become the father he needs to be?

Finally, I believe that this is positioning for a potential reality tv show, where all 4 mothers get paid. This is probably why they all showed up: T.O.’s fame is why this is happening, so their chances of getting a show out of this are strong. Let me ask this: will you watch?

Females know how to get pregnant and they know how not to get pregnant…! They have the final decision when it come to child bearing.

What these baby mommas don’t realize is that Terrell Owen’s new contract is not guaranteed. The Seahawks could cut him tomorrow and T.O. would never see anything close to $1 million dollars.
