Geraldo Rivera: Trayvon Martin Surveillance Tape Shows He Was Dressed Like a ‘Thug’
Geraldo Rivera, who wormed his way into the media coverage of Trayvon Martin by saying that the hoodie was ultimately responsible for his death, is back it. In the wake of the release of the 7-11 video surveillance, he claims that he was right in his initial statement: Trayvon was “dressed in thug wear,” reports the Huffington Post.
“I think what’s far more significant is what Trayvon Martin looked like on that night, Bill,” he said to FOX News host Bill O’Reilly. “Aside from the fact that he’s dressed in that thug wear — look at the size of him, he’s not a little kid.
“If this young man was a stranger to George Zimmerman, Trayvon Martin looks just like the people who had been burglarizing and victimizing that neighborhood for the last six months,” Rivera continued.

Rivera doesn’t know what the h**l he’s talking about, it wouldn’t matter if Martin was dressed in a 3 piece suit, this racist pig was out to kill a black man. I’m not surprised that Rivera would make a statement like that since Zimmerman is Hispanic too, but they think that they’re white. What they’re in denial about is the fact that white people don’t have any more acceptance for them either, in their eyes, he & Zimmerman are Wetbacks, they lump them in with all of the other Hispanics that they loath. The facts that counts are known. George Zimmerman left his house going to the store and he felt he needed a hand gun. He saw a black kid walking in a common area of his complex. George thought the kid looked suspicious, so he did the right thing and called 911. The 911 operator directed George not to persue the kid. George, along with his hand gun, decided to persue the kid, against the direction of the 911 operator. Within minutes, George shot and killed an unarmed kid. What else, matters?

Thugs wear all kinds of clothing, including 3-piece suits like the Wall Street crooks whose reckless financial dealings almost destroyed the economy of this country. However, Rivera’s remarks about hoodies as thug wear have to be among the dumbest ever. Trayvon Martin was doing nothing that should have prompted that idiot to take his life. Trayvon fell victim to what amounts to assumptions about all black males, especially young ones. Geraldo Rivera’s remarks add insult to injury, because this killing was such a senseless one.
