Spinderella Calls Out Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys and Kanye West and Celebs: You’re Not Real DJs

Legendary DJ Spinderella from Salt-N-Pepa has a problem with rappers, singers and producers pretending to do her job, and she flew to the Twittersphere to tell the world about it.
Some celebs such as Alicia Keys (DJ AK-47), Lil Wayne, and Kanye West (DJ Yeezy World Peace), have all started DJ’ing like it’s the new “it’ thing to to do, and Spin, a DJ true to her craft since the 80s, ain’t having it.

Puhleez!!! Anybody with a turntable is a DJ. It’s not rocket science. Don’t hate cause they are getting paid and you are not. Let see who will get the bigger crowd you or them?
I think Spin’s issue is a little of both, but more so the latter. Many celebs slap all kinds of titles on themselves and they either don’t do most of that stuff, or they get labeled as a certain thing when they’ve only done it once. For instance, Alicia Keys gets labeled as an actress, but she was only in two movies and she can’t really act on a true movie star level. But anyway, I think if she were getting the attention she wants and getting paid for her talent, she wouldn’t be saying s**t about today’s DJs.
