Anyone who has been keeping up with Love & Hip Hop knows how complicated the relationship between rapper Jim Jones and his woman Chrissy Lampkin is.

Chrissy has held Jim down for 7 years now, and has been hinting at marriage all throughout the show. She even took the initial step and proposed to him last season!
This second season, we saw her buy Jim a replacement engagement ring after she lost the original, and we watched him spend his own money on other pieces of jewelry and on new cars.
Last night’s episode showed Chrissy questioning her position in Jim’s life, and she decided she needed a break from the rapper and his lack of understanding, so she went for a girls’ weekend in Miami.
Jim surprisingly showed up, which definitely got Chrissy heated for not respecting her space. Instead of arguing with her, Jim finally pulled out a ring and proposed!
Although Jim didn’t seem too ecstatic, Chrissy was in tears and looked like the happiest woman alive!

O that was so sweet how he propose on the show that air on Sunday night I loved it….
I knew Jim was going to follow Chrissy to Miami. There was no way I was going to let working at DISH make me miss my show. Luckily I was able to stream it right to my iPad since I have TV everywhere. On break I watched all the drama. I can’t believe Jim finally popped the question! Thank goodness Chrissy was annoying me with all those water works. Just saying, now Chrissy can hush up for a little bit. I can’t wait for the next episode.
