Lil Wayne Is A Sports Commentator?

Black Like Moi reports:

We should have guessed it was only a matter of time ever since he started skateboarding like it was going out of style.

Lil Wayne is starting the New Year off with his own sports segment, “Weezy’s Sports Corner.”

The video web series, which debuted December 24, will feature the YMCMB chairman talking about his favorite teams: Green Bay Packers, LA Lakers, Boston Red Sox, Washington Capitals, LSU and UNC basketball teams.

“My love for sports started when I was about zero years old. That means I was born a sports child,” said Wayne. “It was mostly the women in my family. My mom and my grandmother, they were just super sporty… They loved their teams, they loved football, they loved baseball, they loved basketball.”

Wayne began this enterprise while he was in prison, and now he hopes to position himself as a respected sports analyst. He’s also been tapped to co-host “The Sports Rap” with Jalen Rose and Rob Parker.

If you can’t say anything else about Lil Wayne, the man is a hustler.

Now if we can just get him to stop wearing jeans 6 sizes too small, we might be in the verge of a breakthrough.
