Chad Ochocinco and R&B Singer Syleena Johnson’s Father Dies After Bout With Cancer

VH1 reality star Chad OchoCinco has had to deal with a lot of drama since the beginning of his relationship with Evelyn Lozada, but nothing compares to the loss of a loved one.
The Patriot wide-receiver’s father, Syl Johnson, has passed away after a long bout with cancer. Johnson was a Blues and Soul singer in the late 70 & 80′s. He was recently embroiled in legal battles with Kanye West, the musician charged that West used a sample of his song, “The Joy” on Watch the Throne, and he was never paid for it.
Johnson is also the father of R&B songtress, Syleena Johnson, who, ironically, became a household name on Kanye’s “All Fall Down.”

I don’t know who Chad’s dad was but Syl Johnson IS Syleena Johnson’s dad and IS STILL ALIVE and was just performing a few months ago.
Who wrote this, this information is not true. Chad and sylena are not related. They just showed.her dad on TV and those two men look nothing alike. Whoever wrote this get your facts straight.

This is all so wrong!!! the amazing Soul/Blues singer/guitarist, Syl Johnson , is alive and well. Syleena is his daughter. I don’t think Chad is his son???!! Please correct this error filled piece!
