According to Ice Cube (O’Shea Jackson) the fourth edition of the urban classic, Friday, is coming to a theatre near you. The next episode is in the works and Ice Cube says he is trying to get the entire original cast — including Chris Tucker as Smokey.
A rep for Cube Vision productions confirmed, “Absolutely yes the studio is in the process of getting the entire original cast to do another Friday.”
Last month Debo (Tom “Tiny” Lister Jr.) told TMZ.com he and Tucker were on board but were waiting for the contract process to complete. Rumour has it Debo and Craig become friends on what may be the ‘Last Friday’.
