Oprah Winfrey Goes To Haiti Under Tight Security
Oprah Winfrey arrived in Haiti on Sunday evening to interview Sean Penn and visit a settlement camp for displaced people run by his aid group J/P HRO.
A massive, 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti last January 12th, killing 230,000 and making 1.3 million more homeless.
Sean Penn flew to the country to help one week later and now say it’s his life’s work.
Winfrey, escorted by security guards, walked among the tents with the actor and said Penn’s efforts will be featured in an upcoming program on her Oprah Winfrey Network.
