Gene Mark‘s easy, breezy letter to ‘poor black kids’ has made the media rounds lately, and some of Black America’s best writers have returned fire with humorous,  scathing responses.

But did you know how he felt about women?

In an October Forbes article, titled: “Why Most Women Will Never Become CEO” Marks had the following to say:

  1. What Marks seems to be saying is that women grow taking themselves far too serious. The men growing up know that if they wreck a company they will ‘sweeten’ their resume and ship it to an executive search firm and wait for a call. They do not internalize these failed episodes. Women might o into a state of severe depression and never recover. To the male American slavery is the cost of doing business, even White slavery.
