Teach people that just because you like food does not mean it is good for you. Junkies like dope but it is clear to most you should not use dope, why is food abuse so easy to over look? h**l with a little exercise and thoughtful food choices, diabetes would disappear.

Lazy a*s, fat people who do not want to do any exercise or eat sensibly are those most prone to the disease. There is nothing you can do until a person wants to be helped and then let hope it is not too late. Food is a drug too. There are many food junkies. Junkies die, sooner or later.

Diabetes is not a disease of obesity. It is also a genetic disease. Most Type 2 folks normally have a legacy in their families. There are articles that would suggest that minorities are pre dispositioned to becoming insulin resistance.

Even if you lose weight and relax your diabetic symptoms you will still be diabetic because your pancreas is only working at 50% function. So to keep the symptoms in a relaxed state a person will also have to maintain their food intake too.

One way to fight Diabetes is to remind folks there is no cure.

Another way is to learn how to recognize snake oil salesman and women that prey opon the diabetic community with their wonder treatments that dont have any affect. These people see diabetics as a cash cow to supplement their business of herbs and vitamins that have absolutely no scientific proof of working and living up to the claims.

Fortunately, most cases of type 2 diabetes can be cured through diet. However, it is a diet that most people do not want to undertake. You must eliminate all sugar (fructose, cane sugar, high fructose corn syrup, etc) from the diet, as well as simple carbs like white rice/bread.
