BROCKTON, Mass.—Three Marshfield residents have been sentenced for their roles in assaulting and violating the civil rights of a black man beaten outside a house party in June 2008.Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz said Tuesday that 23-year-old Amanda Kelly was sentenced to two to three years in state prison with five years’ probation. Twenty-five-year-old Christopher Bratlie was sentenced to two years in county jail with six months suspended for five years. Twenty-one-year-old Kevin Shdeed was sentenced to three months in jail with nine months suspended for five years.They were convicted Monday of a racially motivated attack against Tizaya Robinson of Boston. Prosecutors said he was beaten, kicked and stabbed while a group including the attackers shouted racial slurs.
